Barbara Jean Rosenberg

Barbara Jean Rosenberg passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Crawford County Care Center.

The daughter of the late Emmett Sr. and Hazel Thomas Rosenberg, she was the baby of the family.

Barbara Jean loved Christmas, shopping, and giving presents. Giving was second nature to Barbie. She also loved cats and always had pets.

She is survived by her only daughter and beloved son-in-law, Laura and James Wade of Titusville. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Cotterman of Tidioute and Marylou Cyranowski of North East; sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Rosenberg of Youngsville, and Kathryn Rosenberg of Cooperstown, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Emmett Jr., Franklin "Tom", William, James Rosenberg; and sister Betty Rosenberg; brothers-in-law, Frank Cotterman, Sr. and Robert Cyranowski; sister-in-law, Cora Rosenberg; and nephew, Michael Rosenberg.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

A special thanks to the staff at the Crawford County Care Center for their wonderful care during the past month and to Hospice of Crawford County.
