Betty Lou Abrams

Betty Lou "Pud" Abrams, 85, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, after an extended illness.

Betty was born on April 29, 1939, in Titusville to the late Rexford G. and Kathryn P. Cook Abrams.

She was a graduate of Colestock High School.

Betty's dedication was evident in her work at GTE Sylvania, where she spent many years before her retirement.

She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed walking, and caring for her home, but above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

Betty is survived by her sister, Beverly Thomas of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Schneider, Delma Goughler, and DeAnna Benedict; and two brothers, Rexford G. Abrams, Jr. and Larry L. Abrams.

Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Wednesday, September 25th, from 5 to 7 p.m. At that time, a funeral service will be conducted.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
