Betty M. Brumagin Wells, 100, of Pleasantville, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Born on November 19, 1924 in Corry, PA, she was the daughter of the late Laurel Howard Brumagin and Eva Rose Stuyvesant Brumagin. She wed the late Harvey C. Wells in Erie, PA on July 22, 1942.

Betty was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Titusville since 1972. She owned and operated Wells' Superette, Laundromat, and Drive-In Restaurant in Pleasantville for 16 years alongside her husband. Prior to this, Betty was a homemaker on their family farm in Waterford. Betty and her husband resided in Belleview, FL for 25 years and were members of The First Baptist Church of Belleview. They returned to Pleasantville in 2005 to be near family.

Betty left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Known for her kindness, generosity, and warm heart, she dedicated much of her life to caring for her family, friends, and the local community. A talented quilter, Betty created countless beautiful quilts, each stitched with love and care, which became treasured family heirlooms. She also had a gift for baking, always filling her home with the comforting smells of fresh breads, pies, and cookies that she generously shared with others. Whether hosting family gatherings or donating her creations to community events, her thoughtful gestures and unwavering support touched many lives. Her legacy of love, creativity, and selflessness will continue to inspire and be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In her life, Betty demonstrated unwavering faith, serving as a constant beacon of love, strength, and hope to all who knew her. Her deep trust in God guided her through every trial, and she shared that faith selflessly with her family, friends, and community. Whether through quiet prayer, acts of kindness, or the strength she showed in difficult times, she lived her faith every day. Her life was a testament to the power of belief, and her enduring love for God and others will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Betty will be greatly missed by her children, Carol R. Brooks of Pleasantville, Roy G. Wells (Becky) of North East, Gary L. Wells (Cindy) of Union City, and Gene H.
