Brenda S. O'Neill, 63, of Titusville, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, surrounded by her family after an extended illness.
Brenda was born in Titusville on April 5, 1962, to Norman N. and Lois Hart Carson. She married Donald O'Neill on September 22, 1984, at St. Titus Church.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1980.
Brenda previously worked for Penn Bank, Titusville Dental Arts, and the Titusville Area Hospital, and for 24 years as a correctional officer for Venango County before retiring in 2022.
She enjoyed going to yard sales, bowling, and baking with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Brenda is survived by her husband Donald of Titusville; her children Ryan O'Neill of Erie, and Jessica Lorenz and husband Joe of Titusville; three wonderful grandchildren, Sophia, Aubree, and Jayce Lorenz all of Titusville; her mother Lois Carson of Titusville; her siblings, Kimberly Riffle and husband Paul of West Virginia, Jeffrey Carson and wife Diane of Springville, PA, Mark Carson and wife Marcie of Titusville, and Timothy Carson and wife Jennifer of Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman N. Carson; nephew, Zachery Baker; sisters-in-law, Renee Carson and Jenny Kurschinske; and brothers-in-law, Neil Fox and David Kurschinske.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Saturday, December 6th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Jamison Corners Cemetery.
