Brian Joseph Morris

Brian J. Morris, 44, of Spartansburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Brian was born on March 18, 1980, in Corry, a son of Edward Morris and Rhonda Geer Roberts.

He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1999.

During and after high school he worked in the tool room at Erie Plastics. After the closing of Erie Plastics, he was employed at General Electric for 5 years as a machinist. He then worked at Associated Springs as a machine operator.

In his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball, softball and bowling.

Brian enjoyed hunting, outdoor activities, traveling to the mountains and going on vacations to the beach. He loved his hard rock music and his pet ducks. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Roberts of Corry; His father and stepmother, Edward and Tammy Morris of Spartansburg; his loving wife, Johanna Morris of Spartansburg; two sons, Caleb and Carter Morris of Spartansburg; two brothers, Ronald Morris and wife Heather of Spartansburg, Justin Beattie and wife Tarette of Corry; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Beattie; and his step father, Douglas Roberts.

Brian will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, hard work and his great love for his family.

The family will receive friends at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 1-2 PM at which time a memorial service will be conducted.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
