Bruce W. Reynolds

Bruce W. Reynolds, 90, of Pleasantville, passed away Thursday evening September 25, 2025 and was greeted immediately by his son Pat who led him to their favorite fishing hole, where Bruce is already making new stories to tell.

Bruce was born on August 11, 1935 in Titusville, a son of the late Ralph and Mamie Proper Reynolds. He was married to Ruth M. Sullivan on May 17, 1962 in Townville. She preceded him in death on March 29, 1997. He later married Mary Davis in 1998, who survives.

Bruce was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1953. He had been employed as a salesman at the former Dailey and Kocan Chevrolet and Bossard and Crawford Chevrolet in Titusville until 2000 at which time he retired. He had also been employed at Quaker State Oil Company in Pleasantville for 5 years in production.

Bruce was a member of the Titusville First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Titusville Lodge No. 754 F.&A.M., where he had served as worshipful master in 1974. He was also a member of the Oil City Lodge of Perfection and New Castle Consistory.

Bruce enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially bird hunting with his springer spaniel dogs. He was a member of the Over The Hill Gang at Green Acres for over 15 years. He also enjoyed wintering in Lakeland, FL for over 20 years.

Bruce is survived by his wife Mary of Titusville; daughters, Susan Stewart and husband John of Titusville and Mary Withers and husband Allen of Princeton, WV; grandchildren, Shannon Fultz and husband Dan, Joel Stewart and wife Shanli, Patrick Withers, Alexander Withers; great granddaughters, Reyn Marie Fultz, Marlowe Ruth Fultz and Ruth Avelyn Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and first wife Ruth, he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Reynolds; a great granddaughter, Tindley Grace Stewart; and three brothers, Charles, Howard and Russell Reynolds.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Thursday October 2, 2025 from 6 to 8 PM. Further visitation will be held on Friday October 3rd at the Titusville First Baptist Church 216 N. Perry St. Titusville, PA from 10 to 11 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Mike Strawbridge and Rev. Brian Borger officiating.

Officers and members of the Titusville Lodge No. 754 F.&A.M. will conduct a memorial service on Thursday, October 2nd at 5:45 PM at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
