Burdetta M. "Burdie" Dosch, 78, of Titusville, passed on Friday March 28, 2025, in her sleep at her residence, next to her loving husband Lon.
Burdie was born in Titusville, on August 27, 1946, a daughter of the late Bruce A. Baker and Corrine Shade Kellogg. She married Lon Dosch Jr. on December 12, 1964, in Enterprise.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1964. She attended beauty school in 1973, in Oil City.
Burdie was employed by Quaker State Refining Company for 30 years as an Executive Accountant, in Titusville. She was also a licensed beautician, working from home for many years.
Burdie was a very talented baker and cook, she was known for her cereal mixtures and Christmas cookies. She enjoyed spending time at the family camp on the Allegheny River in Tidioute. She loved spending time with her family and adored her two grandsons Evan and Cory.
Burdie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lon; her daughter, Loni Lynn Tanner and husband Shaun of Titusville; her grandsons, Evan J. Tanner and Cory A. Tanner, both of Erie; her sisters, Bonnie Thompson and husband Robert of Meadville, Jessie Yoho and husband John of Conneaut Lake; her brother, Donald Baker and wife Debbie of Meadville; her sister in law, Peg Baker of Blooming Valley; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Buck.
Burdie was preceded in death and will be joining her angel infant daughter, Kellie Marie Dosch, her sister Ellen Powell and husband Melvin, her brothers Ronald Baker, Danny Baker, James Baker, and Billy Baker.
No services will be observed at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in her honor.
