In loving memory of Carole M. Voisin who passed away on Thursday evening, February 6, 2025 after an extended stay at the Titusville HealthCare and Rehab Center. Born on March 16, 1944 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of the late Robert A. Martin and Martha J. Martin. She graduated from high school in 1962 in Tidioute, PA. Carole married Larry (Mike) Voisin on November 5, 1966 in Centerville, PA.
Carole was a strong-willed woman who was kind, loving and caring as a wife, a mother and a friend. She was full of curiosity and mischief when it came to flowers, plants and trees, and she was quite adventurous in full-filling those passions. Folks who knew her well would all agree. She had a keen eye for capturing and creating beauty and was a ray of sunshine and joy. Her love for her flower garden truly shone through with its vibrant display of colors, textures and themes. Mike helped make it magical -- a happy and peaceful place for all to enjoy. Bunnies and birds were always welcomed.
Carole shared her special talent and creativity with numerous friends and the Titusville Garden Club who awarded her recognition for 45 years of dedicated service to them and the community. Carole was an amazing can-do kind of person. She'd say "Don't throw that away, I could use it for something". She enjoyed long daily walks with her friends and would often arrive home with a new found treasure. She loved crafting and attending festivals of that sort. She was a member of the Spinners and Weavers Guild. When the sun wasn't shining, Carole would be immersed in another adventure in a good mystery novel.
Carole was employed as a floral designer in Titusville at Murdoch's Flower Shop and Country Gardens Gift Shop. Earlier in life she was active in volleyball and tennis. She supported her son's love of sports and passed on her crafting and gardening passions to her daughters along with her great skill of photography composition she learned while working with Ron Joyce Photography. She leaves behind fond memories through pictures she's taken.
In addition to her husband, Mike, a deeply caring and loving husband who was extremely devoted to being near her side during her difficult journey the past couple of years, Carole is survived by 2 daughters, Kelley M. Johnson (husband, Robin) of Brooksville, FL and Tina R. Catalane (husband, Edward) of Sarasota, FL (their sons, Noah and Finley) and 1 son, Dr. Michael R. Voisin (wife, Naomi) of Chandler, AZ (their children, Mikey, Angelica (fiancé, Connor Blakely), Phoenix, Victoria and Parker) 3 brothers, James R. Martin, Carl (Tom) Martin both of Tidioute, PA and Dennis M. Martin (Christine) of Grand Valley, PA, Carole is also survived by her mother's sister, Shirley of Jamestown, NY, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
No services are being observed at this time. Interment will be at the Swedish Union Cemetery with a graveside service in the summer of 2025, date to be announced later.
