Clyde O. Baldwin, Jr., 71, of Centerville, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Clyde was born on August 17, 1954 in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Clyde O. Baldwin, Sr. and Lois McCauley Baldwin. He was married to Joan Godbey Lanham on August 3, 1985. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2022.
Clyde was a graduate of Titusville High School.
He had been employed at General Electric in Erie from 1973 until his retirement in 2012. He had also worked at Sparty Wood intermittently over the years.
Clyde was a social member of the Eagles Club, the Union City VFW and of the Union City American Legion. He enjoyed spending time at The Bear Inn at Canadohta Lake, hunting, fishing, playing pool, riding his motorcycle and loved classic cars.
He was a man of few words, had great morals and values, and a strong work ethic. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be missed greatly and his loving memories cherished always.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Lanham of Canadohta Lake and Kimberly Swisshelm and husband Jack of Canadohta Lake; grandchildren, Emily Lanham of Titusville, Shandra Peelman of Pittsburgh, Keely Simpson and husband Derrick of Shalamer, FL, Justice Lanham Keister and partner Shannon Wolfe of Titusville, and Damien Lanham Keister of Shelby, NC; five great grandchildren, Xavier and Akair Lanham of Titusville, and Kallie, Karlee and Karsyn Simpson of Florida; a brother, Ron Baldwin of Titusville; two sisters-in-law, Kathryn Baldwin of Pleasantville and Debra Baldwin of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy, Dwayne, and Skippy Baldwin; and a step-daughter, Leslie Lanham.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Mr. Troy Frazier officiating.
Interment will be in Fertigs Cemetery.
