Dale L. Beach, Jr., 75, of Titusville, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Titusville Area Hospital after an extended illness.
Dale was born in Titusville on February 25, 1949, to the late Dale L. and Dorothy "Dottie" Madden Beach. He married Sherry Evans on May 22, 1971, at St. Walburga Church.
He was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, Class of 1968.
Dale was a United States Marine Corps veteran who served with distinction during the Vietnam War. He enlisted in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1970. Dale took pride in being selected for Language School before his deployment. He was awarded two Purple Heart medals for injuries sustained in combat.
He was a police officer for the Titusville Police Dept. from 1977 to 1996, retiring as a Criminal Investigator. After retirement, he worked for Titusville Public Works for over ten years.
Dale was a Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW member and Fraternal Order of Police Tri-City Lodge #50. Dale was a member and president of the men's Thursday night league at Green Acres for over 40 years and also participated in the Tuesday night and Elder statesmen leagues.
He loved golfing, was passionate about horseshoes, and eagerly anticipated the annual Beach Fourth of July Horseshoe tournament, which he had won many years in a row.
Dale is survived by his wife, Sherry of Titusville; two children, Robin Thompson and husband Ronald of Titusville, and Travis Beach and wife Jessica of Pleasantville; five grandchildren, Zachary Thompson, Ian Thompson, and Abigail Thompson and fiancé Jesse Birch, all of Titusville, and Trenton and Ty Beach both of Pleasantville; two great-great-grandchildren, Leyton and Oakley Thompson brother, Allen Beach and wife Patricia of Titusville; two sisters, Yvonne Leach and husband Ken, and Vickie Corey and husband Bill, both of Titusville; two sisters-in-law Kathy Beach of Titusville, Carol Freiwald and husband Karl of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary L. Beach; his mother and father-in-law, Hazel Madden and Paul Evans; two sisters-in-law, Connie Madden and Carla and husband, Lyle Ecker.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be conducted.

Full military rites will be observed.
Interment will be at St. Walburga Cemetery.
