Darrell E Rodgers, Sr.

Darrell E. Rodger, 57, Sr. of Titusville, passed away at the Meadville Medical Center on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Darrell was born on May 31, 1967, to Richard L. and Nancy Wright Rodgers in Titusville. He was married to the former Mary J. Geiger.

Darrell worked in the woods logging, and worked for Queen Cutlery, Great Eastern Cutlery and Alternamats in Titusville.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing, reveling in the peacefulness of the woods. Above all, he cherished his family and embraced the profound happiness of being a loving grandfather.

Darrell is survived by his wife Mary of Titusville; three children Ellen Blackford and companion Josh Alvarez, Cory Rodgers and wife Brittany, and Darrell Rodgers, Jr. and companion Shannon Farren all of Titusville; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Owen, Maiya, and Zoey; his mother, Nancy Rodgers of Centerville; three siblings, Lisa Rose and husband Tony of Titusville, Jen Wright and husband Bill of Grand Valley, and Richard Rodgers, Jr. of Titusville; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rodgers; a nephew, Ryan J. Rose; and his close cousin, Jon A. Rodgers.

A memorial dinner will be held for Jon A. and Darrell E. Rodgers on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Pleasantville Vol. Fire Dept. 157 W. State St. Pleasantville from 2 to 6 p.m.
