David Horn Obituary
David K. Horn, 62, of Townville, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, after an extended illness.
David was born on October 8, 1960, in Titusville, to the late Franklin Horn and Marilyn Maginnis Horn Mishler. He married Veronica M. Reynolds on August 25, 2012, in Townville.
He was a graduate of Maplewood High School, Class of 1978.
David was a veteran having served in the US Army. He entered the service on November 1, 1978, in Pittsburgh and was honorable discharged on October 31, 1982, at Ft. Dix, NJ with the rank of SP4. He was also stationed at Ft. Carson, CO, and in Germany.
He worked as the manager for Lake Corona in California for many years. After moving back to Titusville, he worked odd jobs for family and friends, and most recently as a painter for Horn's Custom Painting.
David was a member of the Titusville Moose Lodge 84.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors, singing karaoke and helping family and friends who were in need.
He is survived by his wife Veronica of Townville; his mother Marilyn of Pleasantville; a son Elias Horn of Anaheim, CA; a brother John Horn and wife Heide of Titusville; his aunt, Patricia Maginnis of Titusville; a nephew Zachary Horn of Titusville; two stepchildren, Kody Reynolds, and TJ McCaslin both of Townville.
In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by a brother James E. Horn; a niece Jessica Horn; his stepfather Gene Mishler; and a stepson Nathan Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. at East Troy Cemetery with full military rites being observed.
