Debi Ann Miller, born October 2nd, 1953 in Titusville, Pennsylvania, left town one last time on January 17th, 2025
She graduated from Titusville High School in 1971, worked and lived in Ohio, Florida and Arizona before returning back home. She was a hard worker, who took care of her family, even if she didn’t always take care of herself.
Debi was loved for her keen sense of humor, quick wit and kindness to strangers.
She loved to dance, enjoyed movies, music and she believed - above all else - in the goodness of people.
Larger than life wasn’t large enough for Debi Miller; to her children she was mythic.
To her family and friends, she told tall tales as improbable as they were unforgettable. Tales about the life she led and the adventures she had. But even when her facts were flimsy or few, her yarns told the same truth over and over to anyone who was listening: This isn’t enough life for me.
Because Debi needed more than any one lifetime could grant her.
She lived and loved hard, too hard. Gave it everything she had and when it demanded more, she did her best to pick herself up and give it one more shot; even if she was empty-handed.
She was kind to the little things in life. She stuck up for the underdog, for the outcast and where she sometimes couldn’t stick up for herself she rarely ever failed to stand up for those who needed it.
She is survived by her daughter, Allison McMillen; sons, Anthony McMillen and John David Miller. Her brothers John Miller (Ronni) and Jerry Miller (Michelle); grandsons, Zach Childress, Lane Baldwin, Anthony Childress, Oliver Childress; Freddy Mac Greszler; granddaughters, Hailey Probst, Scarlett Rose Greszler and Nora Wren Hendel-McMillen; great-granddaughters, Elaina Raine Baldwin, Penny Lane Childress, Livi B Childress.
Debi was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence Donald Miller and Bernadette Shaw Carey; Stepfather Jay Carey; brothers Patrick Miller, Larry Miller; and her grandson Brycen Baldwin.
Debi deserved a Viking funeral but we hope she’ll settle for a mere cremation.
Thank you, we love you, we miss you more than you’ll ever know. We will remember you always, as we know you never forgot us.
“Those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.”
Debi Miller, our wealthy soul.
Interment of Debi's cremains will be held on Friday April 4th at 1:00 PM at St. Catharines Cemetery.
