Debra Lee Schenberg, 71, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab Center.
Debra was born on February 7, 1952, in Jamestown, NY, to the late Gerald B. Miller, Sr. and Jessie L. Eddy Miller Ecker. She married Gary L. Schenberg on August 16, 1969, in Titusville. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2019.
Debra was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1970.
She worked at Pasquales for 6 years, Quality Markets for 20 years and was last employed at the Titusville Senior Center as a cook, retiring in 2014.
Debra was a member of the Hydetown Baptist Church and lifetime member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW Auxiliary.
She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, shopping, watching Hallmark movies, and decorating for the holidays. However, above all, her greatest source of happiness was spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her daughter, Robyn Kellert and husband Joseph of Coudersport; a son in law Douglas Peters of Xenia, OH; six grandchildren, Travis Beers and husband Damion of Dayton, OH, Austin Ricke and companion Maya of Sarasota, FL, Hunter Ricke and fiance Larissa of Phillipsburg, PA, Mikayla Kavounas and companion Chase of Cuba, NY, Garrett Kellert and companion Cheyne of Coudersport, and Gavin Kellert of Coudersport; two special nieces, Denise Thornton of Titusville, and Jessica Scotty of Tampa Bay, FL; and lifelong friend Kathy Eldred of Titusville, and special friend Evelyn Deliman of Titusville.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Traci Peters; and three sisters Rosalie Miller, Marilyn May Miller, and Marylou Repine; two brothers, Richard L. Miller and Gerald B. Miller, Jr.; and two stepbrothers, Lyle and Gary Ecker.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Sterling, officiating.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
