Dennis A. Krause, 82, of Titusville, passed away Monday evening, April 13, 2026, at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.
Dennis was born in Titusville on November 8, 1943, to the late George and Ruby Bennett Krause.
He was a graduate of Milton Hershey High School.
Dennis was a veteran who served in the US Navy and was honorably discharged as a Petty Officer Third Class E4.
He worked at Keystone Honing for 35 years as a machinist until his retirement.
Dennis was an avid reader, who enjoyed watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns and Guardians, and enjoyed trivia. He was a smart man who had the answer to any question.
He is survived by his children, Wendy Napier and husband Martin of Grand Island, NY, Eric Krause and companion Katrina of Titusville, Ruby Sterling and husband Leonard of Titusville, and Michelle Wilson of Barberton, OH; grandchildren, Justin Krause of Grand Island, NY, Douglas Sterling and wife Kayla of Titusville, Mary Miller and husband Bill of Grand Valley, Jamie Byard and husband Tom of Pittsburg, Lindsay Shobe and husband Jon of Barberton, OH, and Betty Bickel of Akron, OH; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Steven Krause of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred, Ronald, and James Krause; two sisters, Teresa Barko and Karen Holtz; and his longtime companion, Betty "Mimi" Hull.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at which time a funeral service will be conducted.
Full military rites will be observed.
