Donald E. "Don" Feely,72, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, after a courageous seven year battle with cancer.
Donald was born on October 20, 1951, in Titusville to the late Jack and Dorothy Vogus Feely.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1971.
Don worked as a truck driver for Quaker State for 23 years, and later Ergon Energy. He was last employed in farming until he retired in 2017.
He was a member of Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion and the former Titusville PNA Club.
Don was a big fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Sr. He enjoyed going to dirt track races, especially Tri City, hunting, spotting for deer, camping, and going to Kwik Fill in the morning to drink coffee and visit with the customers. He loved to attend car shows with his 1970 Chevy Pickup Truck, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his companion Michelle Huff of Franklin; his children, Billie Spencer and husband Cliff of Franklin, Jackie Abrams and husband Cory of Franklin, Jeremy Feely and companion Jeremiah Myers of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Chelsey Spencer, Samantha Coburn, Becca Spencer, Skylar Spencer, Matthew Abrams, Nathan Abrams, and Kyson Myers; a great-grandson Grayson Abrams; mother-in-law Diana Mullen of Franklin; father-in-law Gary Mullen and wife Charlene of Seneca; a sister-in-law Jodie O'Laughlin and husband Mike of New Castle; and his close friends, Dick Forney, Jerry Miller, Randy Mallory, Brian Haskins and Frank Walker; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Don was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond and James Feely and two brothers who died in infancy Jack and Robert Feely; and his sister Deloris "Jean" McClintock.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 25, 2024, from 11-1 P.M., at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354. The funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. with Rev. David McVay officiating.
Interment will be at Cherrytree Cemetery.
There will be a memorial benefit dinner at the Titusville American Legion, 113 E. Central Ave. Titusville, PA 16354 on June 1, 2024, at 1 P.M.
Food dishes can be dropped off at Cherrytree Church on the day of the funeral.
