Donald A. "Don" Peeples, 83, of Titusville, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.
Don was born on January 9, 1942, in Titusville, a son of the late Dallas and Mildred Wright Peeples. He married Charlotte Wagner on December 8, 1973, in Titusville.
Don attended Titusville Area Schools.
For many years he worked with his father out in the woods. He began logging at a very young age and had great knowledge of the trade. He had worked several jobs throughout his life and retired from Weyerhaeuser Lumber after many years.
Don had a love for the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing at his favorite spot in Mystic Park, Archers Elbow. He enjoyed deer hunting as well for both archery and rifle season. During his afternoons he would sit on the front porch and talk to all his neighbors while drinking his hot coffee. But above all, he enjoyed the company of his family and grandchildren.
Don is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of 51 years; his sons, Donald Peeples II, Michael Peeples and wife Jessica, Daniel Peeples and wife Jackie, all of Titusville; his daughters, Carol Dunkle and husband Chris of Pleasantville, Kim Ray of Titusville, Yolanda Jones and husband Michael of Titusville; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; life long friend, Mary Antill of Titusville, and his beloved pet, Trouble the dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and 4 sisters; 2 grandchildren, Amy Hazelton and Jeffrey Sterner.
No services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be conducted in the summer.
