Doris A. Sharrar, 57, of Titusville, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness.
Doris was born in Titusville on August 28, 1966, to the late Ray and Dora Gilson Reynolds. She married Jeffrey D. Sharrar on March 25, 2011.
She attended Titusville schools.
She was more than an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed going to the casino. In her younger years, she liked to go dancing. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, and loved to host holiday meals - just don't be late.
It would be wrong to say that Doris lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Doris stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in her. Just because she is no longer here, it does not mean she lost her fight.
Doris is survived by her husband Jeff of Titusville; her children Sarah Reynolds of Erie, and Justin Reynolds and wife Katie of Titusville; five grandchildren, Destiny and Tegan Tucker, and Eva Bussard of Erie, Ryan Reynolds, and Marshall Reynolds both of Titusville. a brother, Miller Reynolds and wife Sherry Baker of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rhonda Nelson and Brenda Myers; and a brother Ray Reynolds, Jr.
No services are being observed at this time.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Oil City.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org
