Dorothy Harry, 97, was escorted peacefully to heaven by her guardian angel on Friday May 15, 2026, early in the morning, surrounded by her daughter Nancy and devoted caregiver Carol.
Dorothy had a wonderful long life filled with many, many accomplishments. Her life was centered around her love of the Lord by serving at the Breedtown Baptist Church as the pianist, organist and church clerk for over 50 years, and especially supportive of the spiritual leaders of the church.
Early in her life she graduated from Franklin Business School which paved the way for her to be very successful with her family business (Miles Insurance), then on to office manger for both Congressman John Peterson and Congressman G. T.
Thompson until retiring at the young age of 81.
On a personal note, my mom, "The Energizer Bunny", as I loved to call her, loved to take special care of her yard. She especially loved mowing 4 acres with her John Deere tractor, until she was 90 years old. She had a lot of energy.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th, at the Breedtown Baptist Church, Titusville, Pa: Visitation will start at 10 am, followed by 11 am service and a luncheon at approximately noon.
Internment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetary in Titusville, Pa.
Memorial donations can be made to the Breedtown Baptist Church 2037 Cherrytree Road, Titusville, Pa. 16354
Is it the ending of a life well lived or is it just the beginning of a beautiful
Eternal Life?
