Dorothy Huddleson Obituary

Dorothy M. Huddleson, 79, of Neiltown Road Pleasantville, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 13, 2023 at her residence. Dorothy was born on September 18, 1943 in Titusville to the late Francis and Helen Wagner Bowles. She was first married to Clark Harris, Sr. who preceded her in death on March 28, 1979. She later married Richard L. Huddleson who preceded her in death on December 11, 1986. Dorothy had attended Titusville Area High School. She had worked at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for many years in housekeeping, where she met and got to know her “Pitt family”. She loved animals, especially her pets, in which throughout her years she would raise and care for many. She looked forward to and enjoyed her getaways with her sister Kay Sauro, and her mother daughter time with Karen. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Karen Harris of Oil City; a son, Clark Harris and wife Laura of Oil City; two sisters, Darla Kay Sauro and husband John of Titusville and Barbara Bowles of Oil City; two brothers, Francis “Andy” Bowles of Hydetown and Larry Bowles of Titusville; her grandchildren, Cameron Madden of Florida, Zachery Harris of Tennessee, Brittany Miller of Oil City, and Evan Ehrhart of Oil City; nephews, John Sauro and wife Heather of Nevada, Rick Sauro and wife Jackie of Texas, and Shawn Bowles of Minnesota; and nieces Mandy Bowles of Wallaceville, Amy Bowles Carll of Tionesta, and Shanna Gibson of Titusville; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Harris; a brother, Terry Bowles; and a niece Tiffany Gibson. No public visitation will be observed. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
