Eddie G. Shreffler, 73, of Titusville, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Embassy of Park Avenue in Meadville following an extended illness.
Eddie was born on November 23, 1952 in Greenville, PA, a son of the late Robert Shreffler and Gloria Shreive Shreffler.
Eddie was a member of the Titusville First Methodist Church. He enjoyed shopping, collecting antiques, the outdoors and camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Eddie is survived by his children; Letha Schweitzer and husband Zachary of Seneca, Suzanne Johnson and husband David of Guys Mills, Paul Gass and wife Pam of Hampton, GA, and Jayson Nageotte of Meadville; grandchildren, Kayla Couch and husband Christian and great grandchildren Jenna, Kayden and Walker of Hampton, GA; Carla Dorsey and husband Kyle and great grandchildren Izzie and Kara of Hampton, GA; Kadin, Xavier, and Cameran Byler all of Guys Mills, PA; Sage, Allison, and Aurora Schweitzer of Seneca, PA; and Eric Krumm and great granddaughter Jasmine of Meadville, PA; a sister, Marguerite Gartner of Waterford; brothers, Danny Shreffler of Cochranton, Dewayne Shreffler of Virginia, and Ronald Shreffler and companion Barb of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companions, Lois Nageotte and Della Fischer; a great grandson, Kash Dorsey; two sisters, Sherry Graham and Cynthia Shreffler; two brothers, Gary and Jack Rhoades; a sister-in-law, Sue Shreffler; and a brother-in-law, Harold Gartner.
No public visitation will be observed.
Friends may attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Titusville First Methodist Church 302 W. Walnut St. Titusville, PA 16354.
