Edward H. Mott Jr. 81, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, with his family by his side.
Ed was born on March 9, 1944, in Titusville, a son of the late Edward H. Sr. and Bertha Wright Mott.
He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1963.
Ed was employed at Cyclops Steel Company, for over 25 years as a forklift operator.
Ed enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, Golfing in the summertime and going for long bike rides. He was an avid bowler in his youth. He also enjoyed carpentry work and remodeling with his son Craig.
He is survived by his sons, Richard Mott of Pleasantville, Craig Mott and wife Cheri of Oil City, Gerry Mott and wife Kathy of Hammon, LA, Mark Mott and wife Nina of Titusville; his grandchildren, Richie Mott of Titusville, Eddy Mott and wife Angelique of Virginia, Laurie Lee Mott of Greenville, Kody Mott and fiancé Hannah Styen of Pittsfield, Jerimiah Mott of Hammon, LA, Hana May Mott of Oil City, Abigayil DeLucha and husband Sam of Sandy Lake, Shelby Lynn LeBlanc and husband Nick of Tennessee, Dylan Mott and wife Sam of Hammon, LA, Gage Sutton and wife Clarice of Louisianna, Kameron Evans and wife Heather of Tennessee, Abigail Sampsell and companion Evan Mullen of Titusville; his 7 great grandchildren; his brothers, Boyd Mott and wife Merry of Titusville, Willard Mott and wife Ann of Pleasantville; his sisters, Judy Terrill and husband Emery of North Caolina, Irene Thompson of New Castle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his daughter Sonja Evans and sister Jane Blackmar.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 North Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, on Monday, March 9, 2026, beginning at 11 AM to 1 PM, with a funeral service to follow with Shawn Johnson officiating.
Internment will be at Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.
