Eleanor L. Burt

Eleanor L. Burt, 90, of Titusville, passed away Saturday morning May 4, 2024 at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilition.

Eleanor was born on March 31, 1934 in Uniontown, PA, a daughter of the late Jasper and Helen Densmore Mitchell. She was married to Alvin “Lindy” Burt on April 19, 1983. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2013.

Eleanor was a graduate of North Union High School in Uniontown, PA, class of 1952.

She had previously attended the Pleasantville Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo and sewing. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.

She is survived by a son, Philip David Mitchell of Texas; a step-daughter, Trudi Domres and husband Gene of Oil City; several grandchildren; four sisters, Lois Frazee and husband Ray, Carolee Hinkle and husband Larry, and Dollie Kennedy, all of Uniontown, and Miriam Pendergrass of Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers.

No public visitation will be observed.

Private interment will be in Plumer Cemetery.
