Elva V. Brady

   Elva V. Brady, 89, formerly of Neilltown passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Southwoods Assisted Living Community in Titusville.

   Elva was born on December 15, 1933, in Forest County to the late William F. and Mabel (Mallory) Coulter. She married Frederick W. Brady Sr. on November 1, 1952, in Titusville. Mr. Brady preceded her in death on September 21, 2016.

   She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, class of 1952.

   Elva was employed by G.C. Murphy Company as a clerk, later McCrory's and was last employed by Andy's Lockers.

   She attended Pleasantville United Methodist Church.

   Elva enjoyed making ceramics and reading the newspaper.

   She is survived by her children, Steven Brady and wife Kim of Pleasantville, Craig Brady and wife Paula of Butler, Tonia Hetrick of Tionesta; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Coulter of Pleasantville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   Elva was preceded in death by her sons, Frederick W. Brady, Jr., Kevin Brady; brothers, Charles, and Curtis Coulter; and sisters, Dora DeLong, Mildred Hahn and Albertha Langdon.

   Visitation will be at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Friday, April 21st from noon to 2 p.m. with the service to follow conducted by Rev. Jerome Alsdorf pastor of the Pleasanville United Methodist Church, officiating.

   Interment will be in Neilltown Cemetery.
