Obituary

Frances L. Peterson, 82, of Titusville, passed away Sunday evening July 30, 2023 at her residence.

Frances was born on August 29, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. She was married to Robert E. “Bob” Peterson on October 25, 1957 in Titusville. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2003.

Frances had been employed at the former Sunset Manor in Titusville for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially family cookouts and gatherings. She also enjoyed doing crafts, needlepoint, ceramics, and baking.

Frances is survived by her children, David Peterson and wife Kim of Pleasantville, Rick Peterson and wife Laura of Titusville, Rob Peterson and wife Julie of Centerville, and Debbie Millard and husband Doug of Titusville; a daughter-in-law, Diana Ohl Peterson of Pleasantville; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Scott and Steven Peterson; and was also the last of her brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.

The family asks that memorials be made to any chapter of the American Cancer Society.
