Gerald E. "Jerry" Wright, 84, of Titusville, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Corry Manor.
Jerry was born in Titusville on December 24, 1940, to the late Merle E. and Virginia Propheter Wright. He married the former Linda Warner, who preceded him in death on June 27, 2021.
He attended Titusville High School.
Jerry worked as a bartender at local establishments and was also employed at Titusville OC&T Railroad.
He enjoyed fishing, was a great storyteller, and always had a joke to share. He went to McDonald's every morning for coffee, was an avid James Dean fan, had a tremendous album collection, and loved spending time with family and friends.
Jerry is survived by Jerry Wright Jr. and wife Claudia of Canadohta Lake, Rhonda McGuire and husband Claude of VA, Mike Wright and wife Laurie of Elgin; a step-daughter, Shannon Coulter of Erie; a stepson, Bruce Coulter; grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Paige, Danielle, Reece, Nathan, Carley, Alisha, Mario, Desiree, Josh, Brittany, Shawn; his siblings, Robert Wright and wife Betty, James Wright and wife Marilyn, Barbara Fielding, Sandra Vinopal, Nancy Rodgers, and Linda Anderson and husband James.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Merle Wright; a stepdaughter, Gina Alers; a grandson, Bryce Wright; a great-grandson, Brendan Leech; and a step-grandson, Shawn Coulter.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Friday, January 17th, at 2:00 p.m.
