Grace A (Jones) Showers

Grace A. Showers, 82, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Jefferson Healthcare in Jefferson, OH, after an extended illness.

Grace was born in West Chester, PA, on August 8, 1943, to the late Leal E. and Virginia Burr Jones. She married Robert M. "Bob" Showers on June 6, 1975, in Titusville. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2024.

She attended Townville schools.

Grace worked as an LPN at Polk Center for over 30 years before retiring.

She was a member of Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW Auxiliary, the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion Auxiliary, Titusville Elks Lodge #264, Moose 84 Lodge, and the former Titusville PNA and Eagles Club.

Grace enjoyed traveling, going on cruises with her husband, and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert J. Showers and wife Kimberly, of Conneaut, OH, and Robert Kaid and wife Ginnette of Utah; three granddaughters, Natasha Showers of Conneaut, OH, Marcedez Showers of Dorset, OH, and Alexis Stock of Bucyrus, OH; and several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Rainey of Pleasantville.

Grace was preceded in death by a son, Brian Showers, two brothers, Dorcie D. "Dan" Moore, and Leal E. "Butch" Jones, and brother-in-law, Leigh Rainey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be conducted with Harry Correa, officiating.

Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery.
