Gretchen Elaine Sutton

Gretchen Elaine Sutton, 46, of Conneaut Lake, PA, passed away Thursday morning February 1, 2024 at UPMC Jameson in New Castle, PA.

Gretchen was born on August 11, 1977 in Wenatchee, Washington, a daughter of Ada Bryan Karaffa and the late Eugene Karaffa. She was married to Wayne Sutton who survives.

Gretchen was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed her pet cats and dog “Misty”. She also enjoyed going out to eat, watching scary movies, going for rides in the car, and listening to music, especially the german group Ramnstein. She also enjoyed anything camouflage and dragons.

Gretchen is survived by her mother, Ada Karaffa of West Chester, OH; her husband Wayne of Conneaut Lake; three children, Katie Wyncoop and Emily Karaffa, both of Buffalo, NY, and Allison Sutton of Titusville; a sister, Jen Sanders and husband Scott of West Chester, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will recieve friends on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time a memorial service will be conducted.
