Harold L. Anthony, 94, of Second Street Pleasantville passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Harold was born on August 24, 1928, in Pleasantville to the late Elmer and Grace (Sowers) Anthony.
He was formerly employed in the oil and automobile industry as a mechanic.
Harold was a life member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, camping, an avid NASCAR fan and was the financial secretary of the Venango County Coon and Fox Club.
He is survived by his son, Harold "Skip" Anthony II and wife Denise of Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Arlene Balla of Columbus, OH; step-children, Gary Otto and companion Debbie Crocker of Titusville, Edwin J. Burt Jr and companion Jeanine of Lynchburg, VA, Thomas Burt and wife Bonnie of Pleasantville, grandchildren, Sam Balla, Leo Balla, both of Columbus, OH, Matt Anthony of Denver, CO, Michael Anthony of Tucson, AZ; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Anthony and wife Roberta of Mill Village; sisters, Grace Corey, of Titusville, Jane Mitchell of North East; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Esther Anthony; his second wife, Barbara Brady Burt; his brothers, George, Lloyd, Robert, Walter, David, and Lawrence Anthony; and his sisters, Elma Zaremba, Edna Covell, Iona Vanderhoof, and two sisters that died in infancy.
A private ceremony is being conducted for the family.
