Helen Byler Obituary

Helen E. "Mema" Byler, 81, of Titusville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Helen was born on April 16, 1942, in Titusville to the late William and Gertha Dorn DePrater. She married Jack Byler in 1977.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School.

Helen worked at the Titusville Area Middle School in the cafeteria for many years. She enjoyed her work and considered the all the students that came through the line "her kids".

She was a member of Fellowship of Believer's Church.

Helen loved her family and always put their needs before hers.

Helen is survived by her husband Jack of Titusville; two children, John Rose, Jr. and wife Ronna Lee of Centerville, and Rosemary Crispin of Titusville; a step child Lydia and husband Cratty; 8 grandchildren, John Crispin, Adam Crispin, Kristen See and husband Ryan, Lauren Bell and husband Ryan, Lexi Crispin, Wesley Crispin, Tanner Rose, and Rachel and husband Jim Colbrunn; 16 great grandchildren, Lynn, Chelsea, Randi, Trapper, Roxi, Cole, Lane, Gracelynn, Ryan, Rylynn, Carter, Winter, River, Maddison, Kody, and Kyle; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Joshua Crispin; a son-in-law, Wesley Crispin; a sister Ruth Carson; and a brother Lewis DePrater.

Services will be private to the family.

Interment will be at Riceville Cemetery.
