Hiram M. “Hie” Graham, 92, of Titusville, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Country Acres Personal Care Home surrounded by his family.
Hiram was born on January 17, 1932 in Corry, PA, a son of the late Elmer and Betty Peterson Graham. He was married to Joyce Frost.
Hiram was a graduate of Townville High School, class of 1950.
Hiram was a veteran having served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the former Emanuel Lutheran Church in Titusville.
He had been employed at the former Cytemp Specialty Steel Corp. for 30 years and was the last surviving member of the quarter century club. He spent three decades working at Cytemp in the melt shop, where he became a valued member of the team.
Hiram grew up with a love for basketball, a pastime he enjoyed in his youth. In his free time, he found joy in golfing and hunting, often surrounded by nature, which he deeply appreciated. But family was Hiram’s greatest treasure. He cherished every gathering with his wife, children, and grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
Hiram is survived by his wife Joyce of a remarkable 70 years; sons, Kevin Graham and wife Terri of Titusville and Terry Graham of Butler; daughters, Kelly DeLong of Titusville and Kym Matulis and husband Richard of Fairfax, VA; a daughter-in-law, Treva Graham of Titusville; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Graham; a granddaughter, Rachael Elizabeth Graham; a son-in-law, James DeLong; three brothers; and four sisters.
No public visitation will be observed. A private family service will be held at a later date honoring the life of a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Hiram’s memory will live on in the hearts of many.
