Irvin R. "Dinty" Moore, Sr., 86, of Titusville, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.
Irvin was born in Tidioute on December 11, 1938, to the late Charles and Ota Mae (Stewart) Moore. He married Bertha M. Hunter on October 9, 1963. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2017.
He attended Tidioute Schools.
Irvin worked as a laborer for Weyerhaeuser in Titusville for 35 years until his retirement.
In his younger years, he boxed at a gym in Erie and later enjoyed watching fights on TV. Irvin liked "Gunsmoke" and old western shows. He was a homebody who loved tinkering with things around the house.
He is survived by his son Irvin R. Moore, Jr. and wife Tracy of Oil City; a daughter, Tina Marie Moore of Titusville; three grandchildren, Tommy, Brittany and Kasie; three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Jane Evans, Jackson Shearer and Braden Huet; three sisters, Christine Vargason (Delbert) of Centerville, Mae Miller of Hanover, PA, and Florine Hinspeter of Girard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

eded in death by two grandsons, Kenneth and Barry Evans; and 17 siblings.
No calling hours or services will be observed.
