Jane F. (Meagher) Weaver

Jane F. Weaver, 80, of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 7, 2026, with her family by her side.

She was born on September 10, 1945, in Titusville, a daughter of the late James F. and Mildred Bengston Meagher. She married her late husband John "Jack" Weaver on April 24, 1971, at Saint Walburga Church in Titusville. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2024.

She was a graduate of the former St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1964.

Jane was employed by the Titusville Area School District for over 20 years, she worked as a teacher's aide at Pleasantville Elementary School. She retired in the spring of 2014.

Jane was a member of the Lady's Pleasantville Fire Dept. Auxiliary, Titusville American Legion and the Polk Quilters. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and being with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters; DeAnna Sopher and husband Jamie of Meadville, Theresa Arison and husband Robbie of Irvine, PA, Trish Leach and husband DJ of Pleasantville; her grandchildren, Michael Weaver, Erin Sopher, Adrienne Powell, and Abigail Leach; her great granddaughter, Amelia Weaver; her brothers, James Meagher and wife Edna of Circle City, AZ, and Patrick Meagher and his late wife Kristy of Pleasantville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Kathy Roggenkamp.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 North Washington Street, Titusville, PA 16354, from 4 PM - 6 PM, a funeral service will follow with Kevin Harmon officiating.

In loving memory of Jane, memorial contributions can be made out to the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department, 157 West State Street, Pleasantville, PA 16341.

Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Pleasantville.
