Janice E. Wilson, 85, of Titusville, passed away Monday evening November 3, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.
Janice was born on November 6, 1939 in Spartansburg, PA, a daughter of the late Alfred and Viola Stockton Brown. She was married to Robert E. Wilson on March 22, 1956 at Findley Lake, NY.
Janice had been employed at the former GTE Sylvania in Pleasantville.
Janice enjoyed going to country music concerts with her husband, especially visiting Nashville, TN where they spent time at Gaylord Opryland and Honky-Tonk Highway on Broadway street. They also enjoyed touring the countryside on their motorcycle.
In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by a son, Robert Wilson and wife Kim of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Allison Dowling of Washington, D.C., Ian Dowling and wife Chloe of Tacoma, WA, Conor Wilson of Seattle, WA, Jake Wilson of Portland, OR and Nicholas Wilson of Lancaster; a son-in-law, Jerome Dowling of Titusville; a brother, Patrick Brown and wife Patty of Titusville; two brothers-in-law, James Guntrum of Titusville and Terry Reynolds of Erie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Dowling; four brothers, Jack, Richard, Michael and Terry Brown; and three sisters, Mary Guntrum, Kathleen Reynolds and Isabelle Brown.
No public visitation will be observed.
Private interment will be in Union Cemetery.
