Jean R. Davison

Jean R. Davison , 92, of Chapmanville passed away on June 24, 2024 at The Caring place in Franklin with her loving family by her side .

Jean was born on September 29th 1931 in Oil City .

She was the daughter of the late Orin and Katherine Brown Blauser.

She attended Oil City High School .

She married Kelvin L Davison on July 14th 1951 in Chapmanville . He preceded her in death on April 27th 2013.

Jean was a member of the Chapmanville Community Church .

Jean enjoyed long walks , swimming , crocheting, playing bingo and watching baseball . She looked forward to her annual trips to Las Vegas and loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren .

Jean is survived by one sister , Patricia Karns and husband John of Franklin , daughters , Brenda Porter and long time companion Micheal Shively of Parma ,and Beth Wilson of Pittsburgh, and son Dennis Davison and wife Pamela of Cooperstown, 7 grandchildren , Jennifer and wife Cat Cabillo-Sobrowski of Bay Village , Oh , Jamie Ockuly and husband Matt of Westlake , Oh , Jodi Porter and husband Fadi Mourra of Seven Hills , Oh , Dustin Davison and wife Jenny of Mars and Marissa , Spencer and Hunter Wilson of Pittsburgh, 11 great grandchildren , Dani and Kenadi Sobrowski , Ava Defranco , Charlotte and Nolan Ockuly , Laila , Sami and Norah Mourra and Maddie , Landon and Everliegh Davison and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on July 20th, 2024 at 1pm at the Chapmanville Community Church, with Pastor Glen Van Cise officiating.

Interment will be at Sunville Cemetery.
