Jerold M. "Jerry" Campbell, 99, of Titusville passed away on June 28, 2026, at Southwoods Assisted Living Center.
Jerry was born on November 26, 1926, in Freedom, Oklahoma, a son of the late Sherman W.T. and Elvessa Armantrout Campbell. He married Doris Ruth Mohnkern on October 23, 1948, she preceded him in death in 1976. He later married Kathryn Hetzler in Emlenton, on January 8, 1977.
In May of 1944 he entered the US Navy Reserves, and was discharged in June of 1946 as Yeoman 3rd Class, serving at Guam's Military Government Headquarters. He then attended colleges in Oklahoma and New York.
He was employed by Nationwide Insurance Companies for 10 years. He then worked at Grand Valley Manufacturing as Vice President of Sales and retired in 1992. Since retirement, he did volunteer work for Love INC., Pleasantville Free Methodist Camp Grounds, and Titusville Toy Shop.
He was a member of the Titusville Free Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. He and his wife Kathryn were privileged to visit missions and serve in ministry in five foreign countries. Jerry also attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Titusville for Sunday evening services.
He is survived by his two sons, James Campbell and wife Marilyn of O'Fallon, IL, Charles "Charlie" Campbell and wife Susan of Denton, TX; three granddaughters, Traci (Patrick) Joyce, Terri (Travis) Campbell, and Ardis Campbell; one grandson, Zachary Johnson; five great grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
In addition to his parents and his wives, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ardis Evins; his brothers, Ben Campbell and Clark Campbell; and his sisters, Frances Dudley, LeEtta Southard and Catharine Lloyd.
Family and friends may attend a memorial service on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Titusville Free Methodist Church 42490 State Route 27 Titusville, PA 16354 with Rev. Timothy Maybray officiating.
