John A. Heath, 66, of Heath Rd., Centerville passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his residence.
John was born on January 6, 1957, in Cleveland, OH to the late Richard and Georgia (Ruggles) Heath. He married Esther Schierer on April 23, 1977, at the Riceville Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of Townville High School.
John worked for Bancroft Dairy Farm while in high school and as a young man. He also worked for Agway in Centerville, Culligan Water in Meadville, and Ernst Pipeline in Centerville. From 1995 to 2007 he owned and operated C & J Landscaping.
He was a former member of the Taylor Stand Bible Church, Union City Eureka Lodge #366 F.& A.M.
John enjoyed raising beef cattle, hunting and fishing with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Heath of Centerville; his children, Connie Bowles and husband Ricky, Dana Henton and husband David of Centerville, Richard Heath of Canadohta Lake; grandchildren, Danielle Hosier and husband Jonathan of Centerville, Bobby Hildum and wife Riley of Titusville; great-grandchildren, Clara Hosier and Graham Hildum; and a sister, Janet Klinginsmith of Canadohta Lake.
Visitation will be at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354 on Friday from 11 to 1 pm with the funeral service to follow conducted by Pastor Tim Harger of the Rometown Community Church.
Interment will be in Rootville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
