John K. Rushlander, 37, of Titusville, passed away Thursday, on May 14, 2026, at his residence.
John was born on December 9, 1988 in Conway, PA, a son of John G. Rushlander and Keiko K. Rushlander.
John had attended the Riverside schools, and upon his high school graduation, he began developing his guitar playing and crafting compositions as a singer-songwriter. He was also a veteran, having served in the US Army. During that time, he served in the Iraq War.
After returning to Pittsburgh, he majored in Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management at Point Park University, where he was chosen as a Pioneer Recording label artist in November, 2015 and released his first CD. Then he continued to perform in the cities of Chicago, New Orleans, and North Carolina.
John is survived by a son, Otto and wife Leah of Titusville;older brothers, Grandin and Clinton Rushlander, older sister, Michie Rushlander.
Services will be private to the family.
