Joseph M. Neely, 34, of Titusville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Joe was born in Franklin on November 17, 1989, to Ricky L. Neely and Bonnie L. McClure.
He graduated from Titusville High School, Class of 2008, and attended IUP and Clarion Universities.
Joe worked at Erie Presque Isle Downs and Casino as Manager of Cage and Credit.
He was a Cleo J. Ross Post 368 Sons of the American Legion and the Oil Creek Beagle Club member.
Joe loved hunting, fishing, and running his beagles, as well as shooting pool and watching Steelers games. He cherished the children in his life and treated them like his own, especially his nephews Seth and Blake. He enjoyed "messing "with people and spent several years managing Casey's slow-pitch softball team. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Ricky and fiancé Carla Tisi Foley of Titusville; his mother, Bonnie Neely of Oil City; a sister, Amanda Warren and husband Curtis of Dayton, OH; his companion Nova Sopher of Titusville; two nephews, Seth and Blake Warren of Dayton, OH; a stepsister, MacKenzie Foley of Titusville; a stepdaughter, Cora Mallory-Nese and wife Kacie of Baden, PA; a great-niece Payson James Eismont of Oil City; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Eleanor "Sis" Neely, and maternal grandparents, Richard and Pearl McClure; his paternal great grandmother Orletta Neely. and his uncle's Kenneth Neely and Terry Rodgers; and close friend David Sopher.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Cherrytree Cemetery.
