Joseph E Wagner

Joseph E. “Joe” Wagner, 77, of Pleasantville, formerly of New Wilmington, PA passed away Monday afternoon February 19, 2024 at his home following an extended illness.

Joe was born on January 3, 1947 in New Castle, PA, a son of the late Walter and Ann Lukas Wagner. He was married to Charlotte Stinedurf on October 7, 1967 in New Castle, PA.

Joe had worked for many years on the family farm. He was last employed with Sharon Steel in Farrell, PA from where he retired and was a member of the United Steel Workers Local 1660.

Joe was a member of St. Camillus Church in New Castle.

Joe enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle and traveling with his family. He enjoyed most being with his family, son and grandchildren.

Joe is survived by his wife Charlotte of Pleasantville; a son, Jason Wagner of Pleasantville; grandsons, Conner and Colin Wagner; a brother, John Darrell Wagner of New Castle; as well as numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Ann Germick, Dorothy Aven, and Mary Jane Wagner.

No public service will be conducted.
