Joyce E. Beers

Joyce E. Beers, 82, of Titusville, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the Sugar Creek Care Center, after a courageous battle with Dementia.

Joyce was born on June 21, 1943, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Glenn R. and Ethel Fulmer Hall. She married the love of her life Ralph Beers Jr. on October 10, 1964, in Titusville at the Breedtown Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2025.

She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1961. After high school she attended Erie Business School and obtained her Associate's Degree.

After marriage, Joyce was primarily a homemaker, she moved with Ralph to Dover Air Force Base while he was stationed there. Upon returning to Saegertown, she was employed at Saegertown Manufacturing as a secretary for a few years. After her children were out of school, Joyce worked at Rite Aid in Saegertown until Ralph's retirement.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, traveling with her family, cooking, and crocheting in her free time. During the winter months, Joyce and Ralph traveled to Arizona and Florida to enjoy the nice weather.

Joyce is survived by her two sons, David Beers and wife Janet of Guys Mills, Eric Beers and wife Kim of Saegertown; her grandchildren, Devin Beers and wife Kelly of Boswell, PA, Bryce Beers and wife Allison of Guys Mills, Tyler Beers of Saegertown, Nate Beers and significant other Missy of Saegertown; her great grandchildren, Landry Beers of Boswell, Mayson Beers of Meadville, Barrett Beers of Saegertown, Brenton Beers and Berkley Beers of Guys Mills.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce is preceded in death by her infant son Raymond Beers and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354, on Thursday October 9, from 4 to 6 PM, and on Friday from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Greg Dill officiating.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Cherrytree Township.
