Joyce Graham Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joyce N. Graham, 93 of Titusville. She passed away surrounded by her loving family in her home on February 19th, 2025.
Born on April 26th, 1931, in Corry, she was the only daughter of Norman and Elnora (Reynolds) Frost.
Joyce was a beloved grandchild, niece, and cousin. She spent most of her youth helping her family with babysitting, chores and kindness. She was born with a naturally kind and caring heart. Joyce had a quick wit to her; she was always trying to see the good in every situation. Anyone that knew Joyce loved how kind she was. Joyce was defined by her soft voice, her compassion, her wisdom and her love. She always made sure everyone felt comfortable in her presence.
Joyce married Hiram (Hie) Graham on April 22nd, 1954. They were married for 70 years and during that time, they built a family, a home and a life together. The home they built was their pride and joy. Joyce's keen eye and exquisite taste created not only a beautiful home inside, but also a beautifully landscaped yard comprised of well tended gardens. Joyce enjoyed sitting on her porch swing as she enjoyed the nature around her. She loved her birds; she enjoyed feeding them and she was especially fond of her hummingbirds.
Joyce was a graduate of Titusville High School’s Class of 1949. She made many lifetime friends and she was admired by many of her classmates.
She worked in the Titusville area intermittently while raising her family, which was always her biggest priority. Joyce was an ideal model as to what a mom should be. She also showed just how important a grandparent is in a child's life. She was quick to share memories, advice, or to lend an ear when one was needed. She loved to reminisce on the family stories and the adventures of her youth; often the stories would include her infectious giggle. Joyce was truly a beautiful person both inside and out with her sincere personality and classic beauty.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Graham; a son, Scott Graham; a granddaughter, Rachel Graham; a son-in-law, Jim DeLong; and her brothers, Bruce and Blaine Frost.
Joyce is survived by her children, Terry Graham of Butler, Kym and Richard Matulis of Fairfax, Virginia, Kevin and Terri Graham of Titusville, Kelly DeLong of Titusville, a daughter-in-law, Treva Graham of Titusville, and a sister-in-law, Linda Frost of Titusville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michelle DeLong, Robin DeLong, Ryan (Taren) DeLong, Lane (Melissa) DeLong, Jessi DeLong, Tiffany (Lucas) Warner, Courtney (Jeremy) Beer, Stephen (Brigitte) Graham, Graham Matulis, and Jennifer Keep, and her great grandchildren, Alivia, Jayson, Harrison, and Greyson Warner, Dixon Graham, Madilynn Beer, Layla and Aelyn DeLong.
The family will have a private service at a later date this spring to honor Joyce and Hiram Graham with Pastor Dale Livermore officiating.
The world has lost a beautiful soul.
