June Miles

June Dahle Miles, 97, of Titusville, passed away Sunday morning May 25, 2025 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

June was born on August 10, 1927 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Matthew and Helen Miller Penick.

June was a graduate of Titusville High School.

June was first married to Wayne J. Dahle on December 7, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1980. She later married Arthur W. Miles on October 15, 1982. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2019.

June was baptized in 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Titusville. She later became a member of the Titusville First Presbyterian Church where she served as deacon and elder for many years.

She enjoyed crocheting, tapestry, quilting and rebuilding trunks.

June is survived by two sons, John and Robert Dahle, both of Titusville; four grandchildren, Jeneane Dahle of Titusville and David Dahle of Ft. Collins, CO, and their mother, Helyn Dahle of Titusville; Eric Dahle and his wife Sylvan of Murrysville and their children, Legend and Zeal; and Jennifer Luikart and husband Shawn of Edinboro. Also surviving is a step-daughter, Patsy Wilson and husband Joe of Sugar Land, TX; a sister, Willow Bauer of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, June was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine Wheeler.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA 16354 on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Dr. Vaughan Smith of the Titusville First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
