The Boy Who Lived
Justin "Alex" Huff-Warner, Jr. of Titusville went ahead of those that love him on April 18th, 2025. He was born in Erie, Pa in August of 2011. It wasn't till 6 years later that he found his forever family. His parents James Huff, Jr and Justin Warner of Titusville, knew the minute he walked into their house and he busted the tv watching "Scooby Doo", that he was their 'dancing midget'. It took 2 more years and many hurdles for him to have their last name.
Although he lived with Autism and Epilepsy, he didn't let it stop him from having fun. Despite not being able to do things that a lot of other kids could, he had his own system. If he wasn't playing basketball inside or outside the house, you could find him carrying around a tattered book. You could tell how much he liked it from the teeth marks on the outside or the shape of the pages inside.
He loved to visit his "embassy" Taco Bell, dancing his jig, singing country music, playing Sonic the Hedgehog on his tablet, or watching Baby Shark, Pete the Cat and parade videos on repeat.
He also loved to dance to the theme songs for "NCIS", "Magnum PI", "The Conners" and others.
He looked forward to family dinner night at the Moose Lodge or family dinner night at Grandma and Grandpa's garage.
Even though his time was short with us, he touched so many. He was the "Sour Patch Kid". During this time we fostered him, to get him ready for his forever home in Heaven and our hearts.
Family is not blood! He is loved by his parents; his sister Rhea Huff-Warner of San Diego; his Grandparents Jerry and Denise Warner of Titusville; Aunts Ashleigh (Warner) Kenyon of Titusville, Nancy (Huff) Stine of Tippery and Ang (Johnson) Carroll of Sharon; Uncles Josh Warner of Titusville and Christopher Beasley of Utica; Great Grandmother Mary Sue Armatas of Titusville; and many Great Uncles and Aunts.
Others he considered as Aunts and Uncles: Mac McAlevy and Phyllis Kenyon; Charlie and Kitty Fiely and Lori Danforth; Glen "BOOM! BOOM!" Edwards.
Special friends: Jill Snyder, Maria Beck, Mike Wright and Teanna Ritchey and family.
He also loved his four legged siblings; Bertha, Bitty, Linda, Tyson, Salem, Maizey, Bella and Chloe and they loved and protected him; mainly because he fed them whatever he was eating or had food on his face, hands and clothes.
When he got there, he was reunited with Grandpa Huff and Great Uncle Jim, whom he would be showing how to play his games on his tablet. Bertha, Bitty, Tyson and Linda were present. He finally got to meet his Grandma Huff who welcomed him with open arms. As are his Great Grandparents Warner, Huff, Slater and Great Grandpas Armatas and Klingler.
Matthew 19.14:
"But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"
HE IS LOVED!
