Kimberly A. Strain, 61, of Titusville, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Oil City Healthcare and Rehab Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kim was born in La Puente, CA, on September 25, 1964, to the late Donald Strain and Emma "Louise" Kurschinske Hanna.
She was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1982.
Kim worked as a Direct Support Professional for Erie Homes for Children and Adults and was also a cook at various restaurants, including Papa Carone's, the Diamond Lunch, and the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion.
She was a very caring, energetic, and outgoing person who loved to look after others and give back to her community. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially around a campfire. She loved her pet dogs and appreciated the simplicity of living in a small town.
Kim is survived by her son, Dalton Strain, of Titusville; siblings, Gail Kulling and husband Dave of Dauphin Island, AL, Joe Hahn and wife Karen of Dempseytown, Tina Hathaway of Delmont, PA, Linda Strain Mielke of Titusville, and Paul Hanna, Jr. of Hydetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen D. Hahn.
A celebration of life will be held at the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m.
