Larry Haugh Obituary
Larry E. Haugh, 77, of Titusville, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Larry was born on May 22, 1947, in Titusville, PA, a son of the late Harry E. and Betty Mottern Haugh. He married Helen Wheeler Haugh on April 25, 1970, in Titusville.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, Class of 1965.
Larry served in the United States Air Force. He entered the service on March 22, 1966, in Pittsburgh and was honorably discharged on December 18, 1969. He was stationed in Iceland during his service.
In his youth he was employed at Universal Cyclops Specialty Steel Corp., and Grand Valley Manufacturing before becoming a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Larry retired in May of 2002, after working for USPS for 29 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his wife Helen, being outdoors, hunting deer, riding his ATV and bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife Helen of 54 years; his sister-in-laws, Deb Wheeler of Cooperstown, PA, Karen Moon of Stoneboro, PA, Carol Gump and husband Joe of Mercer, PA, and Rita Haugh of Oklahoma; his close friend and hunting buddy, Dick Cauvel; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Danny E. Haugh.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville PA, 16354. A funeral service will follow with Jeff Sterling officiating.
Interment will be at Mount Tabor Cemetery.
