Larry W. Kinney, 71, of Titusville, passed away Friday afternoon May 15, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family following a lengthy illness.
Larry was born on July 28, 1954 in Titusville, PA, a son of the late Richard M Kinney and Sharon Weatherby Kinney. He was married to Diane Ruth who preceded him in death in 2010.
Larry had attended the Titusville schools and was a veteran having served in the US Army. He had been employed for over 25 years at the former Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company in Titusville as a shift supervisor. He had also worked for Fisher and Young Lumber and as an iron worker with the local Boilermakers Union.
Larry was a member of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion and of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW. He was an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing carpentry work, listening to music and playing some guitar and singing with his brother Rick. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by a son, Larry W. Kinney II and wife Sabra of Union City; a daughter, Buffey McIntyre and companion Paul Sutton of Titusville; grandchildren, Samantha Grazier, Shiane Grazier, Taylor Grazier, Austin Kinney and wife Rome, Autumn Kinney, Breanna Spishock and husband Joel, Brayden Kinney and fiancée Addison, Ian Kinney, Brian "Jacob" Hart and wife Samantha, Skylar McIntyre and fiancée Amber, Sylvia McIntyre and Jazmyn Kinney-Robinson; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Danny Kinney of Oil City, John Kinney and wife Teresa of Titusville, and Jeffrey Kinney and wife Sharon of Oil City; sisters, Laura Jenkins and husband Brad of Titusville and Vicki Kinney of Titusville; a sister-in-law, Peggy Kinney of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Grazier; brothers, Christopher and Richard "Rick" Kinney; sisters, Sherry Seeley, Carla, Crystal, and Kimberly Kinney; his nephew, Danny Allen Kinney; a sister-in-law, Julie Kinney; and nephews, Cole Kinney and Shane Hunt.
No public visitation will be observed.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Interment in Union Cemetery at 11:30 AM followed by a celebration at the VFW Social Hall 206 St. John Street Titusville, PA 16354.
