Lois Jean "Jeannie" Moniger, 69, a resident of the Billie Brown Building in Titusville, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, surrounded by her family.
Lois was born in McKeesport on July 14, 1954, to the late Ernest J. and Martha J. Foster Wood. She was formerly married to George Harbison in 1972 and later to Dennis Moniger in 1989. He preceded her in death in 2013.
She was a Pleasantville Independent Baptist Church member and attended devotionals at Breedtown Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker, volunteered at Goodwill, was an avid Fish World addict, was a card shark, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her children, Tina Harbison Stahlman of New Bethlehem, PA, Mary Harbison of Clermont, FL, John Harbison and wife Stephanie of Cooksburg, and Amy Moniger and fiancé Jesse Master of Titusville; grandchildren, Tanner, John Jr., Destiny, Isabella, Carter, Emily, Jenna, Andrew, and Rachel; three great-grandchildren, Braden, Willow, and Alexander; two sisters Peggy Aubrecht of Pittsburgh, and Linda Marin of Pittsburgh; a niece Judy Barber; a nephew Dion Oddo; a great-niece Cassie Oddo; and lots of loving pets.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, William Smead III; her siblings, Larry, Jimmy, Judy, and Kenny; her son-in-law, Ron Richard; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Aubrecht.
Visitation will be held at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc., 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, on Wednesday, July 10th, from 10 a.m. to noon. At that time, a funeral service will be conducted with Shawn Johnson and Richard LaRocque officiating.
