Mark E. Benner, 66, of Tidioute, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Titusville Healthcare and Rehab Center after a brief but hard fought battle with ALS.
Mark was born on August 27, 1955, in Warren to the late C.A. and Mary Weller Benner. He married Julie Raybuck on October 23, 1999, in Tidioute.
He was a graduate of Tidioute High School, Class of 1973, and Triangle Technical Institute with a certificate as an HVAC Technician.
Mark worked for Everything Ice, where he installed HVAC units in hockey arenas all over the United States, including the ice rink at PPG Place in Pittsburgh.
Mark enjoyed doing yard work, grilling, telling dad jokes, and being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Julie of Tidioute; five children Brandon Arnold and wife Jessica of Warren, Alex Arnold of Boise, ID, Nicole Arnold of San Diego, CA, Sara Rhoades and husband John of Cherry Grove, PA, Michelle Cantrell of Warren; five grandchildren, Jaylin Arnold, Jaysen Arnold, Kaylee Arnold, Sidney Arnold, and Mitchell Arnold; five sisters, Mary Lynn Hersey-Miller Dover, DE, Kathy Amos and husband Jim of Stevens, PA, Betty Ann Lezzer of Hershey, PA, Dixie Haney and husband Al of Tidioute, and Julie Fadale and husband Michael of Clarendon; two brothers, Terry Benner of Plant City, FL, and Alan Benner and wife Lucinda of Titusville; his mother-in-law Mary Raybuck of Tidioute; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister and two brothers-in-law, Tom Miller and Robert Lezzer, and his father-in-law Howard Raybuck; and his beloved dog Roxy.
Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Tuesday, from noon to 1 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be conducted.
Interment will be at Triumph Swedish Union Cemetery.
