Marlene L. “Marty” DeArment, 75, of Titusville, passed away on November 25, 2024 at the Titusville Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving husband and daughters.
Marty was born on August 18, 1949, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Dean A. and Betty Ducat Fortney. She married George “Ray” DeArment on August 5, 1967, in Hydetown.
She was a graduate of the former Saint Joseph Academy, Class of 1967.
Marty had a love for cooking, she had worked for numerous restaurants in the Titusville area over the years, and really enjoyed making food for her family.
In her free time Marlene enjoyed raising her daughters and being around her grandchildren, coloring, reading, playing bingo and scratch off tickets.
She is survived by her loving husband Ray of 57 years; her five daughters, Holly Beach and husband Chad of Pleasantville, Hope Gafner and husband Randy of Pleasantville, Rae Ann Emminger and husband Bill of Pleasantville, Amy See and husband Rick of Titusville, Carrie English and husband Tyler of Pleasantville; 10 grandchildren, Randa McCleary and husband Shane, Chase Matteson and wife Brittany, Abigale Matteson, Ally Stearns and husband Dan, Tyler See and Fiancé Abrianna Sampson, Lilly See, Claire Emminger, Tyler English Jr., Emily English and Zander Beach; 3 great grandchildren, Charlotte and DJ Stearns, and Maddie McCleary; her best friend, Cindy Benner of Titusville; and several cousins.
Marty was preceded in death by her sister Linda J. Miller, and her beloved dog Sam.
Services will be private for the family. A celebration of life will be held at Shamburg Church Activities Building, 15995 Rouseville Rd, Pleasantville, PA 16341, on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM.
